Anna Lowe Memorial Fund
Wednesday, 17 October 2007

Anna Lowe, 13 years old, was our board member, Ann Lowe, granddaughter.  Anna was killed in an atv accident on 9/30/07.  She loved volunteering for the Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County.  Mrs. Lowe had the desire to set up Anna's website (www.annasmile.org) to donate money for the Boys & Girls Club in Anna's memory.  Anna's friends have entered their loving memories on the WVLT blog.  You can also enter http://www.volunteertv.com/home/headlines/10144221.html, click on search and enter anna lowe.  Also, the Ellen Degeneres Show has Anna under local heroes for anyone wanting to send notes in her memory.  If you click local heroes, then scroll to 13 year old atv accident.  Please remember to vote yes.  This increases the number of votes for possibility of Ellen either visiting this area or having Ann Lowe on her show to discuss Annasmile.org.  Please keep Anna's mother, Beth, and grandparents, Ann and Bill Lowe, in your prayers.

Please check out Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Winfrey's websites as her story has been submitted to them.

11/24/07 WVLT-TV just contacted us wanting to do Anna's story with her grandparents, Ann and Bill Lowe.  We will post the interview date/times when available.
